Frank Hurley and a Century of Antarctic Photography

Photography has played a vital role in revealing Antarctica to the world. This exhibition showcases historic photographs of Douglas Mawson’s British and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition by renowned polar photographer Frank Hurley, alongside cameras recently donated by the Australian Antarctic Division. Together, they tell the story of documenting life and work in the world’s most remote continent.
