Discover the wonders of the Subantarctic Islands

Embark on a photographic voyage through the Southern Ocean with Lara Colrain, Chief Executive Officer of the Mawson’s Huts Foundation.

Travelling aboard Aurora Expeditions’ purpose-built expedition vessel Douglas Mawson, Lara visited the remote subantarctic islands of Macquarie, Enderby and Campbell, encountering penguins, albatrosses, elephant seals, towering icebergs and some of the world’s most spectacular wild landscapes. Through photography and personal reflections, discover what it’s like to journey to these extraordinary islands, experience the wildlife up close, and even take the icy polar plunge at the South Magnetic Pole.

Following the presentation, guests are invited to an exclusive private viewing of Through the Antarctic Lens
