Visit Antarctica without leaving Hobart

Step inside Antarctica through two immersive virtual reality experiences, created by the New Zealand Antarctic Heritage Trust (NZAHT) and the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust (UKAHT).

Explore ‘Discovery Hut’, where you’ll step inside Captain Scott’s historic expedition base on Ross Island, or experience ‘A Frozen Night’, which follows a dog-sledging expedition from a British Antarctic research base on Stonington Island.

Suitable for ages 11 and over, each immersive experience runs for approximately 30 minutes, and sessions alternate between ‘Discovery Hut’ and ‘A Frozen Night’. Bookings are essential.
