Painted penguins popping in for Antarctic Festival

Local artists in Tasmania have started to deliver their finished products to go on display in various location in Hobart as a part of the "Australian Antarctic Festival" this coming September The 1 metre high fibreglass penguins have been made in Australia, and will be sold during the festival with funds to go to the Mawson's Huts Replica Museum and Foundation, who is a sponsor of this initiative. The colour and design of the artworks is completely up to the artists.  "We are thrilled with the quality and creativity of these artworks, and we are very happy to support and promote the local art industry" said Chairman David Jensen.
